Focused
on you
Every lighting project we work on is focused on you, your home and your vision.
I feel that lighting should enhance every project architecturally and should be in sympathy with the character of the property whether it is a Grade II listed barn or a contemporary city flat. Lighting should also open up and enrich the way a space is used and lived in, and I am passionate about having an understanding of how a client intends to use a room or a space. On the journey with a client, we look together for lighting opportunities – to explore how we can use light to bring a room to life, to draw attention to its various features, what atmosphere do we want to create - but also ensuring we are providing a practical solution as we create a lighting design that blends into the life of the client.

I’m highly aware of the impact that lighting has on our enjoyment of the spaces we live in. It should live and work as we do; uplifting the senses through every activity and mood, from the moment we wake in the morning. It should be interesting yet subtle, drawing attention to the interior design and furnishings rather than to the light itself. Lighting dynamics can subconsciously enhance the visual flow and communication through a property, inside and out. It’s always a very enjoyable challenge to work different techniques and effects together, to form truly pleasurable homes and gardens.
